The red morph Dovii is a naturally occurring color variant of the Parachromis dovii (Wolf Cichlid) that develops a vibrant red-orange hue as it matures. This xanthic (yellow/orange) mutation is frequently observed in aquariums, although it is rarer in the wild, where red males may mate with regular females.
