Clown Barb 4-5CM The Clown Barb is a lively, medium-sized fish that needs a tank of at least 4 feet long. They should be kept in groups of 6 or more and paired with similarly sized fish. They get along well with medium to large Botiid loaches. It’s important to do regular partial water changes since these fish are sensitive to waste buildup. The water should be well-oxygenated, especially if you keep them at the higher end of their preferred temperature. Clown Barbs tend to eat soft-leaved plants, so it’s better to use tougher plants like Anubias or Java fern for the sides and back of the tank. Make sure to leave an open area in the middle for swimming. Unfortunately, Clown Barbs are becoming rare in the fish trade, so they might be harder to find.
