Here are some of the things you can do with your children during the Easter Holiday.
We all know it’s hard keeping the children entertained day in and day out during the holidays, and with the British weather being quite lousy it can be tricky to decide what you actually want to do. So here is a few ideas what you could do with them, without them getting bored.
10. Peppa Pig World
This is ideal if you have younger children who are fans of Peppa Pig, but I’m sure older children would also enjoy their time there too. With a whole range of small rides, I’m sure this will be perfect for your child!
9. The London Dungeons
This attraction is only for the brave, as it can be quite scary and dark once you’re inside, especially for the younger children. During your time in the London Dungeons you will be educated on all the gory happenings around London during the Victorian times, from Sweeney Todd to the notorious Jack the Ripper.
8. Easter Egg hunt
Seeing as Easter’s just round the corner this will be perfect to keep your kids entertained, and if you want to you can even join in the hunt too, after all it is all just a bit of fun!
7. Harry Potter Studios
Every child should watch the Harry Potter films, and I’m sure they’re all already fans! With a visit to the Harry Potter Studios your kids will be able to not only see how the films were made but they will also be able to get photos with their most favourite props from the films. Plus, Hogwarts Express has just arrived there, so you really will be in for a treat!
6. Dickens World
If you really want to educate your kids this holiday, then Dickens’ world is the place to be, not only is it based around the life of one of Britain’s best writers, but it will also give you and your children a great insight to what life was like during the Victorian era.
5. Alton Towers
Depending where you live this one could be a bit of a journey, however, it will be well worth the visit and you could even spend a whole weekend there, seeing as there’s two massive theme parks to go around. Plus, one’s a water park, and what could be more fun than that?
4. Cadbury World
After all, Easter is all about the chocolate eggs right? Well with this trip you won’t be feeding your kids for quite a while with all the chocolate they’re going to be munching down!
3. London Zoo
This isn’t just any ordinary zoo, this is London zoo, with more animals than you can imagine! So it really is worth a visit if you happen to be near London. This trip will make the kids ecstatic.
2. Madame Tussauds
Your children will be mesmerised by all the famous stars being in one place, but not the real ones obviously. However, they can still grab a quick picture with a waxwork of one of their favourite actors, or even a member of One Direction, but we’re not too sure if Zayn will still be there.
1. Chessington World of Adventures
Chessington really is like wonderland to a kid, and if you have the opportunity you should take them there. Not only is it filled with superb thrilling rides, it also has a zoo that you can explore too. Plus, there’s plenty of gift shops to allow you to stock up on souvenirs.
