The UK is to be hit by the Black Friday sales this weekend, causing chaos in stores.
Black Friday has hit the stores after Thanksgiving, but now it’s not only in America. As its become popular in the UK too, as many people went to the stores last night to grab a bargain.
Shops in Britain started their Black Friday sales just after Midnight, with many people charging around the stores trying to grab as many discounts as they can.
Police were called out to violent scenes as many members of the public were fighting over who got the last TV.
The Metropolitan police have announced that three people were arrested last night, due to pushing other people over to get the products that they wanted, while others were left to get crushed by the crowds flooding into the stores.
Some shops were forced to close, because they were worried about the violence it may cause. In fact some members of the public refused to go out on Black Friday, as they said the people in the sales were behaving ‘like animals’, and compared it to being a ‘war-zone’.
It was seen that people were left queuing last night for up to 3 hours just to get into the online sites of Currys and Game, while others were trying to fit through the aisle to grab brand new TV’s and game consoles.
We won’t be seeing the end to Black Friday just yet, as many stores are carrying this American trend on until Monday.
