This stunning fish boasts vibrant coloration, particularly in its bright blue eyes. Its body ranges from gray to green, accented by bright yellow edges on all fins and black margins on the rear dorsal, anal, and caudal fins. Juveniles may have more muted colors, but they will intensify with age when provided with a diverse diet of high-quality omnivorous foods. For the best color display, keep them in schools of 6 or more, with a mix of males and females. Offer a diet of omnivorous flake foods, live, freeze-dried, and frozen foods for optimal health.
