Albino tiger Oscar 12-15cm The Oscar is a large South American cichlid that needs a big aquarium as it grows. Young Oscars can live in smaller tanks, but they grow quickly and will need a larger space soon. They are not good for community tanks because they may eat smaller fish. Each Oscar has its own personality, but they usually get along well with large catfish like the Common Pleco. Ideally, the tank should be big enough for at least 5 or 6 Oscars, as smaller groups can lead to fighting, and a single Oscar may feel lonely. The only time you can keep a pair together is if they are already compatible, as they may not accept new fish. The tank should have plenty of open swimming space and sturdy decorations on the sides and back. Make sure any rocks are secure, as Oscars can be destructive and may move things around, which could cause accidents. Plants are not a good idea because they will likely be uprooted. Also, protect heaters with a guard since they can be easily damaged. Picture is of fish in stock all sizes are approx
