Enviro Pro Rabbit Scram really works And it does not have the horrendous odor (to humans) that other products effective in keeping rabbits at bay have. I understood Farmer MacGregor in his fight with Peter Rabbit after two little rabbits visited the raised garden bed in the back yard when the peas and the Swiss chard were each up about 4 inches. I came out to the garden that morning after they had been here. They had left one pea intact by the stakes at each end of the pea row, while the Swiss Chard was completely gone down to the roots. My dog is tiny and capable of being carried off by either a coyote or a chicken hawk so she’s inside the house most of the time and no use in protecting the garden from rabbits. I had to completely dispose of both the dirt and the container that the Blood Meal had been put on. Using Blood Meal around vegetables that potentially were going to be eaten is not an option. I found the Rabbit Scram from Amazon, spread it around the garden area as instructed, and have vegetables growing strong and big with no further visits from the rabbits…. and no horrible (to humans) odor. One more requirement that Rabbit Scram met as well: it is safe to place around plants that are going to be eaten. Some of the other things that I researched appeared to be effective in keeping rabbits away but would be toxic if near edible plants. [...]
