This wood is compact and smooth and smells olive oil. Please note that the pattern of veins varies a lot from each handle. Some are more soft, some more evident. • Rosewood: reddish colour with a pattern of darker veins. Very elegant. The wood is compact, the surface is smooth. • Walnut wood: the wood is not compact, the colour is very pleasing but can vary from lighter to darker. • Teak wood: the colour is very similar to a walnut wood, perhaps with a warmer tone, but the surface of the wood is really peculiar because it is not compact and has tiny elongated cracks along the length of the handle. If you like to see and feel the irregularities of the wood, teak wood is meant for you. • Zebrawood: this wood has a strong character and impact, as it is recognizable by its long dark stripes.
