Eight banded false barb 3-4CM The Eight Banded False Barbs are beautiful but shy fish that need to be kept in groups of six or more. They are best suited for mature softwater aquariums with plenty of plant cover. They are found in blackwater forest streams in the wild and need similar conditions in the aquarium. They do not do well in harder, more alkaline water. Adding Indian Almond Leaves to the filter can be helpful. Tankmates should be small and peaceful.
