Pentazona barb 3-3.5cm Pentazona Barbs are incredibly easy to care for. To create a habitat that mimics their natural environment, make sure to provide plenty of plants and bogwood with a gentle flow. Using a dark substrate will also help bring out the stunning colors of these fish. It’s best to keep these peaceful fish with others of a similar size, such as Tetras, Gouramis, and other Barbs. If you’re looking for a substitute for the more aggressive Tiger Barb, the Pentazona Barb is a great choice. They have a similar appearance but without the “Fin Nipping” behavior. These fish can grow up to 5cm in size, with males usually being slightly smaller and displaying more red coloration.
