Glowlight tetra The Glowlight tetra is a well-known aquarium species that is peaceful and can be a bit shy at times. They are great for community tanks with fish of similar size and temperament, and they also make good dither fish for dwarf cichlids in larger tanks. These fish enjoy having aquatic plants for cover, but they are also comfortable in tanks with bogwood and leaf litter. Since they are shoaling fish, it’s best to keep them in groups. While 6 is the minimum, they look stunning in larger shoals, especially in the lower parts of the aquarium.
