Manacapuru Angelfish Red Back 5-7CM The Red Shoulder Manacapuru Angelfish flourishes in a well-planted aquarium featuring driftwood and/or rock formations, along with gentle water currents. While it isn’t particularly shy, this fish enjoys the shelter provided by plants and, due to its body shape, is less inclined to hide in rock caves or similar structures. Generally, the Red Shoulder Manacapuru Angelfish gets along well with other peaceful fish, provided there is ample space. Its territorial behavior tends to increase during breeding. It’s best to avoid keeping dwarf shrimp and other small, fragile invertebrates with this angelfish, but larger, hardier shrimp and snails might coexist well in a sufficiently large tank. If you aim to encourage spawning, it’s advisable to limit or eliminate tankmates of different species unless the aquarium is quite spacious.
