Xiegu GNR-1 Digital Audio Noise Reduction Unit

DescriptionThe Xiegu GNR-1 is an advanced digital audio noise filter and processor integrating digital noise reduction and filtering. It can be used to externally process audio from any shortwave receiver or transceiver to reduce background noise and improve signal intelligibility. The GNR-1 is powered by a 12 volt DC power pack (supplied) and has an internal amplifier capable of driving either headphones or an external speaker.This unit is capable of reducing background noise by up to 20 dB and incorporates a low cut filter (5hz-1280 Hz) and a high cut filter (500hz -5.6 Khz). Input impedance can be selected from low (16 ohms) or high (10K ohms) to allow connection to either headphones or line output from any receiver.Practical experience with this unit demonstrates a remarkable improvement of receiver performance when used with the Tecsun S-2000, Pl-660, Gospel GR-216, and other non DSP technology receivers.
