Police are investigating after a 29-year-old got stabbed in his property.

The victim had two stab wounds to his back as well as head injuries when he was attacked in his home in Langley Road last night.

His wounds were assessed in the hospital but were not life-threatening.

Police have said that the two involved in the incident are believed to be known to one another.

Sergeant Ross Bartlett said: “Anyone with information can contact us online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Mazda.”
