It is common knowledge that it’s dangerous to live on the street, but why is it much worse if you’re a woman?

The number of homeless people has been rising significantly since 2013. Over 22% of these homeless people are women. Our piece revolves around those women who have struggled in a society, which deems them weak and vulnerable. It’s still quite of a taboo and not a subject that is discussed, which is why we’ve decided to take on this task to inform viewers on the issues faced by homeless women.
